The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the academic calendar for the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) Course for the academic session 2024-25, applicable to both the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh. The calendar outlines the schedule for key activities related to admissions, counselling, classes, and examinations.

Academic Calendar for D.EI.Ed Course 2024-25:

1. Application for Affiliation/Renewal:

• Dates: 9th October 2024 – 23rd October 2024
• Submission of prescribed form with fee.

1. Issuance of Admission Notification (Online Applications for 1st Year):

• Date: 24th October 2024

1. Last Date for Submission of Admission Applications:

• Date: 7th November 2024

1. Centralised Admission/Counselling:

• Dates: 12th November 2024 – 18th November 2024

1. Management Seats/Quota & On-Spot Counselling (if any):

• Date: Next working day after the end of Centralised Admission/Counselling.

1. Class Work & Teaching Practices (1st Year):

• Dates: 25th November 2024 – 30th July 2025

1. Examination & Final Teaching Practice (1st Year):

• Dates: 10th August 2025 – 30th August 2025

1. Holidays:

• Dates: 15th June – 14th July 2025

1. Result of 1st Year:

• By: 30th September 2025.

Note: Other terms and conditions will remain as per the D.EI.Ed rules and regulations as outlined in SRO 123 (18th March 2010) and SRO 292 (2nd July 2018). The admission process will adhere strictly to existing norms.
