Engagement for the Posts of Technical Assistant/Technician on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020, Dated 27.11.2020 at GMC Anantnag

In light of the withdrawal of case Anaitullah Seh & Ors. (O.A. No. 1204/2022 and O.A. No. 169/2022) and the subsequent vacating of interim directions by the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal on 27.08.2024, the candidates listed below are engaged as Technical Assistant/Technician at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag. The engagement follows the selection list issued under Notification No. GMCA/Estt./2022/19-24, dated 03.01.2022.
Details of Engagement: The selected candidates are engaged under Academic Arrangement Basis as per S.O. 364 of 2020, dated 27.11.2020. They will serve for a period of one year, which may be extended annually up to a maximum of six years, subject to satisfactory performance or until the posts are filled on a regular basis by the competent authority.
Pay Scale: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
The engaged candidates must join GMC Anantnag’s main campus at Dialgam within 21 days of the publication of this engagement order. They are required to present the following original documents for verification:
- Essential Qualification Certificates
- Marks Certificates for essential qualification
- Date of Birth Certificate
- 10th/12th Mark Sheets
- Registration Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Health Certificate
Terms & Conditions:
- Joining Period: If a candidate fails to join within 21 days of the order’s publication, it will be assumed that they are not interested, and their engagement will be cancelled.
- Document Verification: Any candidate found guilty of impersonation, submitting false or altered documents, or providing incorrect statements will face legal action. Their candidature will be cancelled, and their contract terminated if this is discovered post-selection.
- Affidavit Requirement: Candidates must submit an affidavit, duly attested by a Judicial Magistrate, affirming the following:
a. If any adverse report regarding qualifications, date of birth, marks certificates, category, or domicile certificates is received from the concerned authorities, the engagement will be deemed cancelled, and the candidate will have no claim to the position or any dues from GMC Anantnag.
b. The candidate will not claim regular appointment in the department.
c. The candidate will refrain from participating in strikes during their tenure.
d. The candidate will maintain discipline during their service.
e. The candidate declares that they are not involved in any criminal activities, and no FIR is pending or registered against them.
f. The candidate acknowledges and understands the terms and nature of their engagement and agrees that they will not seek regularization at the end of the term or at any other time.
This engagement order is subject to the above terms and conditions and must be strictly adhered to for the candidate to continue in the post.
