Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per S.O-364 of 2020. The positions are open to Non-Domicile and Domicile candidates of J&K, and the engagement will be for an initial period, which may be extended based on performance.
Professor: Initially for 3 years, extendable up to 6 years.
Associate Professor: Initially for 3 years, extendable up to 6 years.
Assistant Professor: Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 6 years.

Applicants must submit the following self-attested documents along with their application form:
- Proof of Date of Birth (10th Class Marks Sheet/10th Diploma/Municipal Certificate)
- MBBS Degree and MCI/State Medical Council Registration Certificate
- Post-Graduation Degree in the relevant subject with MCI/State Medical Council Registration
- MBBS/MD/MS Attempt Certificates and Internship Completion Certificate
- MBBS Marks Cards for all professional examinations

Application Submission

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on their academic qualifications and relevant experience, as per the recruitment rules for the respective positions. The performance during the tenure will be reviewed yearly, with potential extensions granted based on satisfactory performance.

In-Service Candidates: In-service candidates are not eligible for engagement under these rules.
Duration of Engagement: The engagement period is initially for three years for Professors and Associate Professors and one year for Assistant Professors. This period is extendable annually, based on performance.
