J&K Handloom Department Tentative Seniority List for Officers Released – The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through its Industries & Commerce Department at the Civil Secretariat, has issued a tentative seniority list of Handloom Training Officers (HTOs) under the Handloom Department for the Union Territory (UT) level.

Notification Highlights:
The Director of Handicrafts & Handloom, Kashmir, has informed that Handloom Training Officers from the Kashmir Division have requested their inclusion in a combined UT-level seniority list.
In response, the Director requested the Industries & Commerce Department to issue a seniority list for the Handloom Training Officers working across both Kashmir and Jammu divisions at the UT level.
After reviewing the proposal from the Director of Handicrafts & Handloom, Kashmir, the department forwarded the request to the Director of Handicrafts & Handloom, Jammu, asking for the service particulars of the Handloom Training Officers in the Jammu Division.
The Director of Handicrafts & Handloom, Jammu, subsequently provided the required service particulars via letter No. DH&HJ/Estt/Seniority-HTO-HL/4553 dated 13.10.2023.
Following the receipt and examination of these service particulars from both the Jammu and Kashmir Divisions, a combined UT-level seniority list has been prepared and is now being issued.
Seniority List Notification: A tentative seniority list for Handloom Training Officers (HTOs) of the Handloom Department, J&K UT Cadre, as of 01.01.2024, is hereby notified in Annexure “A” of this notification. Objections, if any, are invited from the concerned officers within 15 days of the publication of this notice.
