The Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department has issued Government Order No. 78-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated January 15, 2025, approving the regularization of In-charge Section Officers within the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service. This decision follows the recommendations made during the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting held on December 12, 2024.

The regularized officers will assume the position of Section Officers in Pay Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400), effective from July 22, 2024.This move aims to fill existing vacancies and acknowledges the contributions of these officers to the Secretariat’s operations.
