Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) is inviting applications for the following contractual positions, both based in Jammu City:

  1. General Manager Operations e-Bus: 1 position
    • Salary: ₹1.5–1.65 Lacs per month
    • Qualifications:
      • Graduate (B.Tech/B.E.) in Automobile/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science from a recognized university
      • Post-Graduate (ME/M.Tech/PGDM/MBA/PGP) in Urban Transport/Transportation Planning/Logistics/Transport Engineering/Transport Management/Transport Operations
    • Experience: Minimum 12 years in public transport operations, managing at least 50 buses in models like GCC or NCC. Proficiency in IT-based monitoring systems for urban mobility is essential.
  2. Assistant General Manager Operations e-Bus: 1 position
    • Salary: ₹1.00–1.25 Lacs per month
    • Qualifications: Graduate/Post-Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
    • Experience: Minimum 12 years in public transport operations, overseeing at least 50 buses in models like GCC/NCC/Multi-Model/BRTS. Knowledge of IT-based monitoring systems for urban mobility is required.

Other Terms and Conditions:

  • Contract Duration: Initial period of 1 year, extendable based on project requirements and individual performance.
  • Working Hours: 10:00 am to 06:00 pm
  • Termination Clause: Either party can terminate the contract with a one-month notice or salary in lieu thereof.
  • Declarations Required:
    • No criminal charges or convictions
    • Not dismissed or compulsorily retired from any public/private sector undertaking or government department
    • Not declared insolvent by any court
  • Affidavit: Candidates must submit an affidavit stating no claim for further extension or absorption in JSCL or J&K Government.
  • Selection Process: Personal interview and presentation. No TA/DA will be provided. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via telephone or email.
