SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in multiple areas across Jammu and Kathua districts for maintenance and infrastructure upgrades in the coming days.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, Jammu, power supply to Sarore, Jakh, Jogpur, Patli, Industry, and adjoining areas will be disrupted on March 5 and 9, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Similarly, Billawar, Mandali, Dewal, Parnalla, Baggan, Bhaddu, Tandi, Kudetar, Macheedi, and nearby areas will face outages on March 6 and 8, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Additionally, power supply in Logate (Industrial Area), Kumri Kathera, MES Janglote, IIDC Govindsor, Nagri, Palli, Nicer Paper Mill, and surrounding areas will be affected on March 6, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua, has informed that BB Town, Birpur Complex Old, and adjoining areas will experience outages on 5 and 9 March from 8 AM to 12 noon.
Similarly, power supply in Meen and nearby areas will be disrupted on 7 and 9 March from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Additionally, the Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle-III, JPDCL Batote, has announced a power shutdown in Batote and adjoining areas on March 5, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
