Police Action in North Kashmir: SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police in North Kashmir’s Sopore have attached seven marlas of land belonging to two LeT handlers.
“Bilal Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Hamza Mir, and Mohammad Umar Mir, son of Ghulam Hassan Mir — both residents of Brath Kalan, Sopore. The action is linked to Case FIR No. 202/2022 under Sections 7/25 of the Arms Act and Sections 18, 20, 23, 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), and Case FIR No. 251/2022 under Sections 4/5 of the Explosive Substances Act, 7/25 Arms Act, and relevant UAPA sections, all registered at Police Station Sopore,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
The attachments were carried out under Sections 82 and 83 of the Criminal Procedure Code by a joint team of Sopore Police and Revenue officials, following approval from the competent authority.kashmir life.
