The candidate must be a retired or currently serving officer (excluding those from Punjab National Bank, erstwhile Oriental Bank of Commerce, erstwhile United National Bank of India, and their associated entities).

The candidate should have held a position equivalent to that of a General Manager in another bank, financial sector regulatory body, NBSP, NBFC, or CIC.

The candidate should not have been previously or currently employed by Punjab National Bank or its related parties.
