Anganwadi Worker Recruitment 2025: Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for the post of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) at the Anganwadi Centre under the Poshan Project Pouni. The engagement will be on an honorarium basis, as per the guidelines issued by the Social Welfare Department, Jammu & Kashmir.

Eligibility Criteria:
For the post of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker):
- Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Age Limit: Female candidates aged between 18-37 years as on 01-01-2025 are eligible.
- Residential Proof: Candidate should be a resident of the same electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located. Voter list entry will be considered proof. Unmarried candidates listed with parents must submit an Unmarried Certificate from the Tehsildar.
- Educational Qualification:
Minimum: 10+2 (Higher Secondary)
Maximum: Graduation
Candidates with qualifications above Graduation are not eligible.
- Preference Criteria:
If no eligible candidate is available in the ward, one from an adjoining or nearest ward (with prior approval) may be considered.
Candidates will be selected purely on merit, based on 10+2 marks.
In case of a tie, older candidates will be preferred.
Candidates from the family of retiring AWWs/AWHs will get an additional 2% weightage.

Applicants must submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form (Annexure “B”):
a. Domicile Certificate
b. Academic Qualification Certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation)
c. Aadhaar Card
d. Voter ID (as proof of ward residency)
e. Date of Birth Certificate (10th marksheet/diploma)
f. Latest certified Voter List (Panchayat level)
g. Certificate from Councillor/Sarpanch (if claiming relation with retired AWW/AWH)
h. Unmarried Certificate (if applicable) from Tehsildar
i. Affidavit (in prescribed format) duly attested by Judicial/Executive Magistrate
j. Two passport-size photographs (self-attested)
Note: Incomplete forms or forms submitted after 05-05-2025 will be rejected.

Shortlisted candidates must present original documents along with self-attested copies at the time of verification. Required documents include:

Date of Birth Certificate
Unmarried Certificate (if required)
Two recent passport-size photos
One original Photo ID (Aadhaar or Voter ID)
