Position Details:

Post Name: Manager – eBus Operation

Number of Vacancies: 02

Monthly Salary: ₹65,000/- (Consolidated, inclusive of all allowances and taxes)

Upper Age Limit: 45 years

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Operations & Service Management

Ensure smooth daily operations of eBus services, with a focus on safety, punctuality, and efficiency.

Monitor fleet performance and route adherence using Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).

Coordinate with bus operators, ticketing solution providers, digital guides, and depot teams.

Implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce energy usage, and improve service quality.

  1. Fleet & Charging Infrastructure Oversight

Ensure timely and standard-compliant maintenance of eBuses.

Collaborate with service providers for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Supervise the operation and availability of charging infrastructure to avoid disruptions.

  1. Contract & Vendor Management

Monitor and evaluate the performance of service providers under the Gross Cost Contract (GCC) model.

Ensure compliance with KPIs as per contractual terms.

Handle operational issues, spare parts coordination, and maintenance queries.

  1. Financial Monitoring & Performance Analysis

Keep track of operational costs, revenue generation, and subsidies.

Monitor financial health and operational efficiency for sustainable functioning.

Prepare analytical reports on ridership, revenue, and service performance.

  1. Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with JSCL officials, transport departments, and regulatory bodies.

Coordinate with tech partners handling ITS, ticketing, and data solutions.

Support public engagement, awareness initiatives, and media communication if needed.
