SRINAGAR: A teenage girl from the Odura Nillow area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday, shortly after the Class 12 results were announced by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).

A police official said that the girl was found unconscious in her room on Wednesday evening, reportedly after learning that she had not cleared the exams. She was taken to a nearby health centre, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
