The Chief Engineer of the Distribution Wing announced that the planned outage of the 33 KV Bemina I/II and 33 KV Bemina Exhibition lines, initially approved under letter no. CE/D/TS/18343-62/TS dated 25 April 2025, has been revoked.

The decision has been taken in view of the NEET examination slated for Sunday, 4 May, at multiple centres throughout the Valley. Authorities aim to avoid any disruption that could affect candidates appearing for the high-stakes national medical entrance test.

In addition to the Bemina lines, all other previously sanctioned power shutdowns coinciding with the NEET exam date have also been cancelled to facilitate a smooth and uninterrupted examination process
