North Kashmir Road Accident: 8 Policemen Injured in Tragic Mishap” : SRINAGAR: A police vehicle carrying personnel for duty met with an accident near the Twin Bridge area in Uri, north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, on Friday, resulting in injuries to eight policemen.

A senior police officer said that a Gypsy belonging to Police Post Udoosa, Uri, skidded off the road and overturned near Twin Bridge while en route for deployment.
All eight policemen on board sustained injuries and were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Uri for treatment, the officer said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
