SRINAGAR: Two persons lost their lives while another sustained injuries in a road accident on National Highway-44 near the Mand area of Udhampur on Friday.

“The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 am when a Swift car bearing registration number JK21K 9423 hit a road divider, resulting in the death of two occupants on the spot and injuries to one person,” officials said.
The injured person was initially shifted to a nearby health facility and later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for advanced treatment, they said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
