SRINAGAR: A 70-year-old man died after falling from a ridge while cutting grass in the Dragbadi area near Pannar Bridge in the Surankote sector of Poonch district on Sunday, officials said.

Sources said that the deceased has been identified as Changeiz Khan, a resident of Chandimarh. The incident reportedly occurred at around 6:00 PM when the man was collecting grass on a slope and accidentally slipped, resulting in his on-spot death, they said.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated necessary legal proceedings. (JKNS)
