SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police have sought public assistance to identify the accused involved in a hit-and-run incident near Firdous Colony Eidgah.

According to officials, the incident involved a person riding a scooty from Soura towards Safakadal. “A case under FIR No. 63/2025 under sections 281 and 125(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered at Police Station Safakadal,” a police spokesperson said.
Police have appealed to the public to share any information regarding the suspect or the vehicle involved. “Information can be shared anonymously. The identity of the informant will be kept strictly confidential,” the spokesperson added.
The police have asked citizens to contact PCR Srinagar or the nearest police station if they have any relevant details.
