SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed a total of Rs. 4.5 lakh as compensation under the JK Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Wani.

An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of four deceased victims of road accidents & Rs 50,000 to a grievously injured patient.
The families who received compensation included Methuan Kumar s/o Bansi Lal Thakur R/o Hakoo Pallali Paddar, Anjan Kumar s/o Bodh Raj R/o Pallali Paddar,Mohd Yaseen Bhawani s/o Mohd Azim R/o Sigdi Bhatta,Mohd Akbar s/o Amer Malik R/o Passarkot Chatroo and Manjeet Kumar s/o Krishan Chand R/o Sarthal Kishtwar.
