Power supply to Batamaloo, Moominabad and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 29 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The disruption is required to replace a damaged auxiliary cable at the Receiving Station GIS Batamaloo, necessitating shutdown of the 33 KV Exhibition line.
In a separate schedule, shutdowns have also been planned in Ganderbal district on September 25 to connect the tapping point of the under-construction 33 KV Wangath Tap line on the 33 KV Kangan line. As a result, the 33 KV Kangan-Surfraw line will remain off, affecting power supply to Gund, Kullan, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Surfraw, Ganiwan and adjoining areas between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Additionally, power supply will remain disrupted on the same day and during the same hours in Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Baba Nagri, Poshkar, Khanan, and Panzin. The outage will follow shutdown of the 33 KV Kangan line, impacting the PDC Kangan and Kangan Receiving Stations.
