SRINAGAR: The University of Twente in the Netherlands has opened applications for its fully funded scholarships for international students for the academic year 2026, offering grants of up to 22,000 Euros to cover tuition and study-related costs.

According to the university, the programme is designed to provide world-class academic opportunities, innovative research, and a vibrant campus life. Applications are open in two rounds, with the first deadline on February 1, 2026, and the second on May 1, 2026.
The scholarships are available for Master’s degree programmes in disciplines including Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Business Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Philosophy of Science, Technology and Society, Psychology, Public Administration, Robotics, and Sustainable Energy Technology.
Grants will range between €3,000 and €22,000, with additional coverage for study-related expenses and the possibility of an extra University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) grant.
Eligibility criteria specify that applicants must not be Dutch nationals or current University of Twente students. Graduates of UT are also ineligible. Candidates must be able to obtain an entry visa for the Netherlands and demonstrate English language proficiency—IELTS with a minimum overall score of 6.5 or TOEFL iBT with at least 90 overall, and no section below 20.
