RTO Adjusts Driving Test Timings in Srinagar Amid Severe Cold Wave

SRINAGAR: The Regional Transport Office (RTO), Kashmir, has revised the trial test timings for driving licence applicants in District Srinagar due to the severe sub-zero morning temperatures, which have been causing significant inconvenience to candidates.

According to a circular, the first shift, previously scheduled from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, will now take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The circular further states that the second shift, earlier planned for 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, has been rescheduled to run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

“All other details regarding the trial tests remain unchanged. This adjustment aims to alleviate the difficulties faced by applicants due to the harsh weather conditions. Applicants are advised to adhere to the revised timings and plan accordingly,” the circular reads. (KNO)
