Required Documents
- Affidavit duly attested by a 1st Class Magistrate stating that the doctor is not actively serving in government service.
- Attempt Certificate for all MBBS/MD/DNB/Ph.D. or equivalent qualifications issued by the respective university.
- Any other document required by the selection committee during the recruitment process. All documents must be self-attested.
Important Notes
The appointees on an academic arrangement basis will receive a monthly consolidated salary as per S.O. 364 of 2020 (dated 27-11-2020), consistent with Government Medical College, Udhampur.
Appointments will automatically terminate when the appointee reaches 70 years of age.
Services can be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary in lieu of notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Chairperson of the Selection Committee will be final.
Engagement may be terminated without notice for indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance, or misconduct.
Faculty members currently employed in other Medical Colleges of J&K must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective Heads of Institutions.
The application must include a non-refundable Bank Draft of ₹1,000/- in favor of Principal, Government Medical College, Udhampur, payable at Udhampur.
The final selection is subject to changes in the number of vacancies, which may be added or withdrawn based on institutional needs and patient care requirements.
