Announcement of J&K Water Skiing Association Elections 2024-28.In response to the J&K Sports Council Letter No-SC/844/15192-15196, dated 6th March 2024, regarding the conduct of elections for the J&K Water Skiing Association, we hereby notify the election schedule, the offices to be elected, and important details for all eligible members. This notification serves to inform members of the upcoming elections and their right to participate in the election process.

The voter list of eligible candidates representing the concerned districts was published in The Golden Yug (Jammu), Asian Express, and Kashmir Vision on 3rd October 2024, and objections to this list were open until 18th October 2024.
Offices to be Elected (Term: 2024-2028)
The following positions are open for election for a four-year term from 2024 to 2028:
- President: 1 post
- Vice President: 5 posts
- Honorary General Secretary: 1 post
- Joint Secretary: 5 posts
- Treasurer: 1 post
- Executive Members: 8 posts

- Nomination Form Submission:
- Dates: 28th to 30th October 2024
- Deadline: 4:00 PM on 30th October 2024
- Withdrawal of Candidature:
- Dates: 31st October to 2nd November 2024

Important Instructions for Nomination Forms
- The Nomination Forms must be submitted between 28th to 30th October 2024, before 4:00 PM.
- Each nomination form must be supported with:
- A passport-size photograph of the candidate.
- An affidavit (notarized), which can be obtained from the Office of the Returning Officer or downloaded from the official website of the JK Sports Council.
- Forms and any withdrawals or objections regarding the elections must be submitted to the Office of the Returning Officer either in person or via email before the scheduled dates.
