SRINAGAR: A body was found under mysterious circumstances in an orchard in the Akingam area of Achabal in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

Officials said locals found the body hanging and informed the police.
A police team reached the site shortly and initiated an investigation. “The identity of the deceased is being ascertained,” they added.
Cognisance has been taken, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
