Over the weekend, Afghanistan experienced two powerful earthquakes measuring 6.2 in magnitude, as reported by the China Earthquake Networks Center. The impact of these seismic events has been catastrophic, with the death toll in the affected regions, particularly Herat and other western provinces, surpassing 2,000 lives lost.
