Encounter breaks out in Kishtwar, 2-3 JeM terrorists trapped

Kishtwar, 02 July (KS): An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Chatroo area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Wednesday.
Officials told Kashmir Scroll that the gunfight erupted during a joint cordon and search operation launched by the Indian Army, J&K police and CRPF following specific intelligence inputs.
Sources said that 2-3 terrorists affiliated with the Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit are likely believed to be trapped in the area.—(KS)
