Intermittent rain and snow showers will persist until the evening of February 27, after which a more intense spell is expected, continuing through the morning or afternoon of February 28.
However, the precipitation will not be continuous, as dry intervals are expected between spells, particularly between 26 Feb afternoon and 27 Feb evening.
Higher reaches are likely to witness moderate snowfall, with heavy accumulation possible in some areas.
In the plains, rain will remain the dominant feature due to higher temperatures, though there is a 25% chance of rain transitioning to snow on the night of February 27 in a few plains.
An improvement in weather conditions is expected from the afternoon of February 28.
