Weather Update: Today, heavy rainfall is going to continue across Jammu and Kashmir. Intense showers can also occur in a few spots.

Improvement in weather will start between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and thereafter weather will go dry.

Another spell of rain is expected between tomorrow late afternoon and Wednesday early morning. Its intensity and impact will be much less than today.

• 1. A significant rise in the water level of rivers and streams is expected. Stay updated with the government advisories.
• 2. Flash Floods, intense hailstorm, gusty winds, and thunderstorms can also occur in some spots.
• 3. Heavy snowfall is expected over higher reaches. More than 1 foot in some areas.
• 4. Avoid traveling on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway till 01st May.
