ICSSR Recruitment 2025: Jammu University Invites Applications for Research Assistant and Field Investigator Posts

Jammu University has invited applications from eligible candidates for one position of Research Assistant and two positions of Field Investigators for the ICSSR-sanctioned research project titled “Landscape, Livelihoods and Gendered Realities: A Geographical Study of Tribal Women’s Well-being in Kargil District of Ladakh.” The project duration is one year, and the appointments will be purely contractual.

Vacancy Details

1. Research Assistant (01 Post)

Eligibility:
Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences with at least 55% marks, along with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Emoluments:
₹ 37,000/- per month

2. Field Investigators – Part Time (02 Posts)

Eligibility:
Postgraduate in Social Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks

Emoluments:
₹ 20,000/- per month
