Although Rohit could not win his team. After a thumb injury, it was considered difficult for the captain to get on the field, but he played a brilliant inning and brought his team to the brink of victory. Rohit scored 51 not out in 28 balls hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes. Team India needed 6 runs on the last ball, but this ball went to the dot and thus the Indian team lost the match by 5 runs.

why didn’t you come earlier?
Rohit Sharma, who landed at number nine, is being asked the same question. The answer is his injury. Rohit felt that all-rounders like Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar could handle the innings, but both of them disappointed. Rohit was injured, so he wanted to take maximum time.
Even if Bangladesh won the match, Rohit took my heart. Seeing India in trouble, he came out to bat despite a thumb injury and destroyed Bangladesh’s bowling. pic.twitter.com/IkuSBQUgXq
