In Khan Younis, over 20 people died in airstrikes targeting homes and tents sheltering displaced people, Nasser Hospital reported. In northern Gaza’s Jabaliya camp, a strike killed nine people from one family. Another strike in the same area killed 10, including seven children and a woman, Gaza’s civil defence said.

In Gaza City, Shifa Hospital reported that 15 children and 12 women were among at least 43 killed in multiple strikes. Central Gaza also saw attacks, with 12 deaths reported from Deir al-Balah and Zweida town. Nuseirat camp was also hit, killing two, Awda Hospital said.

The Israeli military gave no comment on the latest strikes. The offensive aims to pressure Hamas into accepting a temporary ceasefire that would include the release of Israeli hostages, but not end the war. Hamas demands a full withdrawal of Israeli forces as part of any agreement.

Since then, more than 53,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which does not distinguish between civilians and fighters.
