A total number of 155538 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced)2022. A total of 40712 candidates have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2022. Of the total qualified candidates, 6516 are females. Mr. R K Shishir of IIT Bombay zone is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2022. He obtained 314 marks out of 360 marks.Ms. Tanishka Kabra of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranked female with CRL 16. She obtained 277
marks out of 360.

According to IIT Bombay, the JEE Advanced 2022 rank list is prepared based on marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to fulfill the subject wise as well as aggregate qualifying marks for inclusion in the rank list.
The Combined Seat Allotment (JoSAA) counseling process will begin from September 12, and the registration process for Architecture Aptitude Test, AAT 2022 will begin from September 11. AAT 2022 will be held on September 14.
Criteria for Inclusion in a Rank List
The aggregate marks are calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.
Maximum aggregate marks: 360 (180 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Physics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Chemistry: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
Maximum marks in Mathematics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
On September 1, candidates were given access to a copy of their responses on the JEE’s official website. Following that, the candidates had until 5:00 p.m. on September 4 to submit any objections after the provisional answer keys, which were also released on September 3, were released.
On Monday, September 12, 2022, the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2022 process is anticipated to start after the JEE Advanced Examination 2022 results are known.
