JK Anganwadi Recruitment 2025: Apply for 35 Sangini & Sahayika Posts in Srinagar (POSHAN Project – 4th Phase)

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the 4th Phase of Anganwadi Recruitment 2025 under the POSHAN Project Srinagar. The notification invites applications from eligible women candidates for 35 vacancies of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers – AWWs) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers – AWHs).

These posts will be filled on an honorarium basis, strictly as per guidelines, offering a chance for local women to contribute towards child care and community development.

🔹 JK Anganwadi Vacancy Details 2025 – Srinagar

🔹 Eligibility Criteria

For Anganwadi Workers (AWW)

1. Must be a domicile of J&K UT.
2. Only female candidates aged 18–37 years (as on 01.01.2025) can apply.
3. Applicant must be a resident of the same electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located (proof via voter list or Tehsildar certificate).
4. Minimum educational qualification: 10+2 pass.
   • If no eligible 10+2 candidate is found in the ward, candidates from adjoining wards may be considered with prior approval.
5. Candidates with qualifications higher than graduation are not eligible.
6. Selection will be purely merit-based on 10+2 marks. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred.

For Anganwadi Helpers (AWH)

1. Only women candidates aged 18–37 years (as on 01.01.2025) are eligible.
2. Must be a domicile of J&K UT and resident of the concerned ward.
3. Minimum qualification: Matriculation (10th pass).
   • If no matriculate candidate is available, 8th pass candidates may be considered.
4. Preference will be given to destitute or needy married women of the ward.
5. If no married candidate is available, unmarried women may be considered.

🔹 Documents Required for Verification

Shortlisted candidates must present original documents along with self-attested photocopies of:

• Marks sheets & certificates (10th, 12th, etc.)
• Date of Birth certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Unmarried certificate (if applicable, issued by Tehsildar)
• Aadhaar Card / Voter ID
• Two recent passport-size photographs

• Application Start Date: 26th August 2025
• Last Date to Apply: 9th September 2025 (till 4:00 PM)

Applications must be submitted offline in the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) at the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, POSHAN Project Srinagar.

2. Fill in the required details carefully.
3. Attach self-attested copies of all mandatory documents.
4. Submit the form at the CDPO Office, POSHAN Project Srinagar, before the last date.
