J&K High Court Confirms Fresh Judicial Appointments

SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh on Wednesday issued an order detailing the further appointments and postings of several Judicial Officers, whose services have been placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice.

In an official order No. 1664 of 2025/RG, the following officers have been posted, Naseer Ahmad Dar as Director, JK Judicial Academy; Ajay Kumar Gupta in the Registry; Faizan Ul Haq Iqbal as Registrar Rules; Swati Gupta as Registrar Judicial, Jammu; and Umesh Arma in the Registry.

Civil Judges (Senior Division) have also been assigned new responsibilities. Sunil Kumar has been appointed Registrar Computers (IT) and Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee; Touseef Ahmad Magrey as Joint Registrar Srinagar Inspection; and Faizan I Nazar as Sub Judge, LRP, tasked with overseeing the work of CPC and e-Courts.

The appointments aim to streamline administrative functions of the High Court and enhance the efficiency of judicial services across Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

The order was issued by MK Sharma, Registrar General of the High Court, by the directions of Chief Justice and comes into effect immediately. (KNC)
