SRINAGAR: A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident on the Lolab bypass road in Kupwara on Thursday, officials said.

Officials said that the deceased was identified as Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Sheri, who was serving as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in Jammu and Kashmir Police and was presently posted at Sheeri.
He was rushed to the hospital immediately but was declared dead, they said. Three others injured in the accident were shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for treatment.
Police said cognisance of the incident has been taken and an investigation has been initiated. (KNC)
