Hiring in the J&K Sainik Welfare Department
Applications from ex-servicemen are being accepted for the job of Clerk on a contract basis with an honorarium of Rs. 20,000/-PM on the specified application form, as per the Appendix to this notification.
The following are the terms and conditions and qualifying requirements for appointment:
(a) Preferably a JCO/NCO Clk with sufficient practical experience with computers and accounting.
(b) As of December 31, 2023, the individual’s age cannot exceed 55.
(c) Completion of the Minimum Educational Requirement.
(d) Must possess exemplary character while leaving the defence services.
(e) Must be in Shape-I, Medical Category.
(f) Jammu is the posting location.
(g) Has to be a J&K permanent resident or domicile.
(h) The applicant will not assert the longevity or seniority of the work he has done.
(i) Since this is a contractual position, no claims for pensions or terminal benefits for the work performed may be made.
(j) The maximum age at which a person can be engaged is 60.
By December 26, 2023, application forms and the following attested documents must be addressed to the Directorate of Sainik Welfare Department at directorsw-11@jk.gov.in.-
(a) Birthdate on the Matriculation Certificate
(a) A certificate of domicile or permanent residence,
(c) An attestation of the PPO and Discharge Certificate copies.
(d) Academic Qualifications Certificates.
(d) Any applicable experience certificate
Applications that are not complete will not be accepted. The department is free to reject any application that does not fit the requirements for eligibility. The location of the interview and written test, which will be disclosed later, must be attended by qualified ex-servicemen on their own dime.
Candidates who do not receive a call letter for the written exam will not ask the department to explain why their applications were denied.
