The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a detailed notification regarding the document verification process for candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Legal Assistant and Legal Assistant in the Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs.

📢 Previous Notifications Timeline:
- On 03 January 2025, JKSSB released the score-sheet/result of the shortlisted candidates (Notice No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(IJT)/42/2023-03).
- On 13 February 2025, the Board issued a call for document verification scheduled on 25 February 2025.
- A final supplementary verification round was held on 10 March 2025, as per notice dated 06 March 2025.
- Additionally, one candidate had filed O.A. 373/2025 before the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu Bench, and the matter was disposed of on 03 April 2025.
📄 Required Documents for Verification:
Candidates must present the original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies before the Document Verification Committee:
- ✅ Printed Application Form
- ✅ Two recent passport size colour photographs
- ✅ Original Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Passport)
- ✅ Date of Birth Certificate (10th Class Marks Card or Diploma)
- ✅ Valid Category Certificate (if applicable under reserved category)
- ✅ Domicile Certificate
- ✅ Qualification Certificates/Degree as required in the advertisement
- ✅ Bonafide Certificate (Only for candidates who acquired qualification from institutions outside the UT of J&K. Must be issued by the Registrar/Controller in the Board’s prescribed format)
- ✅ Checklist Form (As per Annexure “B”, to be submitted at the time of verification)
