Kashmir Weather Update: Light Rain and Thunderstorms Forecasted Across the Region: SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a short-term weather update warning of light rain and thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds across several areas of the Kashmir Division over the next few hours.Various areas in Kashmir, Banihal, parts of Ramban, and surrounding regions, are expected to experience these conditions over the next 2 to 3 hours.
Authorities have advised a temporary suspension of shikara rides and boating activities in and around Dal Lake and other water bodies over the next 1 to 2 hours as a precaution.
There is also a likelihood of a brief hailstorm over Gulmarg or its surrounding areas within the next 20 to 30 minutes.
