Masala Pav Recipe: “Masala Pav” is such a recipe which needs mood and not time to eat. From children to elders, it is very much liked. Mumbai’s famous street food Masala Pav can be easily prepared at home too. If you also want to make this dish at home, then you can make it in minutes. Let us tell you the ingredients and easy method to make Masala Pav.
Masala Pav Ingredients
8 loaf
1 cup onion finely chopped
1 tbsp pavbhaji masala
4 tbsp butter
2 cups finely chopped tomatoes
3-4 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp cumin
1 cup capsicum finely chopped
2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp coriander leaves chopped
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
First of all, take a pan which is of deep bottom. Now after heating it on medium flame, add 4 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil to it. After melting the butter, add cumin seeds to it. After the cumin turns red, add red chili-garlic paste to it. Now fry it for about 1 minute. Now add finely chopped onions to it. Fry the onions till light brown.
After this add finely chopped tomatoes and capsicum. Cook while stirring it for about 3 minutes. After this add coriander-cumin powder, red chili powder, pavbhaji masala and salt as per taste to the spices and mix. Mix three-fourths of hot water in it and leave it till it cooks. After cooking the curry for 3 minutes, mash it lightly with a big spoon or masher.
Finally add lemon juice and green coriander to the vegetable and mix it. Fry for about 1 minute and turn off the gas. Stuffing is ready to make Masala Pav. Now you have to follow the next and last step after which Masala Pav will also be ready.
1.Place a large tawa on the gas.
2. Add 1 tsp butter, garlic paste, red chili powder and coriander to it.
3.Cook on medium heat for one minute.
4.Now take two pavs and cut them in the middle.
5.Open the pav and fill the prepared stuffing in it.
6.Now turn the pav over and spread some masala over it.
7.Prepare the rest of the Masala Pav by following this method.
8.You can serve hot masala pav with green chutney and tea.
