Apart from the Cut Off, the official NEET results 2024 press release consists of the NEET 2024 marks range and the number of candidates against it who qualified for the NEET 2024. NEET Cut Off 2024 refers to the minimum mark that is obtained by a candidate in order to qualify for the medical entrance exam.
Meanwhile, candidates should note that the last year’s qualifying percentile of the NEET UG exam remained the same, however, the NEET marks range varied for the exam. The NEET UG 2023 marks range for candidates belonging to the general UR category was 720-137, whereas for SC category the marks range was 136-107.
Candidates who will secure equal or more than the NEET cut off 2024 will be eligible to appear for the NEET UG Counselling process.

NEET Cut Off 2024 refers to the minimum marks that are obtained by a candidate in order to be eligible to qualify for the exam. The Cut Off is different for different categories including the reserved and unreserved categories. - Number of seats in JIPMER – 249
All these seats will be allotted in 612 medical and 315 dental colleges based on NEET 2024 scores.
How to Calculate NEET Cut Off 2024
There’s no direct formula to calculate NEET cut off. The National Testing Agency (NTA) determines the NEET cut-off marks after the exam is conducted, based on several factors. These factors include:
- The total number of students who took the exam
- The difficulty level of that particular NEET exam
- The number of seats available in medical colleges across India
Since these factors vary from year to year, the NEET cut-off marks also change.
NEET 2024 Result Date
NTA will declare the NEET 2024 result on June 14, 2024. The official NEET qualifying marks will be announced along with the NEET UG 2024 result.
