A senior police official said that the woman, originally from Reasi and currently residing in Nishat, was reportedly assaulted by some individuals near Water Works Road. She was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where she was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and arrested all four involved persons. Further investigation is underway, he said. (KNO)
