Officials said the porter, identified as Naveen Sharma, son of Tilak Raj of Sunder Bani, Rajouri, came into accidental contact with a high-voltage line while carrying out routine duties.
He was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he later died. Earlier, officials had said the army would make every effort to secure the best available medical care. (GNS)
