SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns across various areas of Jammu Division for maintenance and upgradation works, impacting both rural and urban regions over the coming weeks.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, power supply to Siot, Lamberi, Bagnoti, Narian, Nowshera, Jaba Deeing Syal, Nonial, Manpur, Chowki-Jangher, Qila, Darhal, Rajpora Laroka and adjoining areas will remain suspended on June 4 from 6 am to 12 noon.

Meanwhile, the Executive Engineer, Electric Division-I Parade, Jammu, stated that Jammu Old University and the area opposite Pahallwan-di-Hatti will face outages from June 5 to June 20 between 8 am and 3 pm.

Other areas facing scheduled cuts include:

In-Side Park: June 8–16, 8 am to 3 pm

Old Mahinder Ghar: June 5–15, 8 am to 3 pm

Near Hans Raj Park: June 12–25, 8 am to 3 pm

Patel Bazar and Pacca Danga: June 10–25, 8 am to 3 pm

Rehari Chowk-I, II, and Honda Showrooms: June 4–25, 8 am to 3 pm

Circuit House and Circuit House-I: June 15–30, 8 am to 3 pm

Chand Nagar including PHE Near Axis Bank: June 16–30, 8 am to 3 pm

Additionally, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), O&M Circle Kathua, has announced that power supply to PHE, industrial units, and adjoining areas in the region will remain affected on June 4 and 7 from 6 am to 10 am and again from 5 pm to 8 pm.
