School Timing Update for Jammu Division – October & November 2024

In supersession of all previous orders regarding school timings, the following updated schedule is hereby notified for all Government and Private (recognized) Schools in the Summer Zone and Winter Zone of Jammu Division:

Summer Zone (Jammu Division)

• October 2024:
  School Timing: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  Applicable to all schools.
• From 01 November 2024:
  School Timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  Exception:
  Schools falling within the Jammu Municipal Corporation limits and the surrounding urban areas will continue to observe the timing of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Winter Zone (Jammu Division)

• From 01 October 2024:
  School Timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Important Note:

• Any deviation from these prescribed school timings will result in appropriate action being taken against the concerned institution as per the rules in force.

Parents, students, and school authorities are advised to strictly adhere to the updated timings to ensure smooth academic functioning.
