  • Larnoo: Recorded an even lower -9.0°C, making it the coldest in the valley.
  • Gulmarg: A popular tourist destination, registered -6.5°C.
  • Pahalgam: Dropped to -7.6°C, adding to the freezing chill.
  • Srinagar: The summer capital recorded a minimum of -3.6°C.
  • Qazigund and Anantnag: Witnessed temperatures of -6.5°C and -6.4°C, respectively.

Higher-altitude areas like Shopian and Larnoo bore the brunt of the cold wave, with sub-zero temperatures dominating the landscape.

Jammu Region

  • Banihal and Bhaderwah: These higher-altitude areas dropped to 1.2°C and 0.9°C, respectively.

Ladakh Region

The Ladakh region, famous for its unforgiving winters, recorded the lowest temperatures:
