SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old youth from Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district lost his life after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a Sumo vehicle.

Woman’s Body Found, Search On for Missing Son After Falling Into Nallah
The deceased has been identified as Arsalaan Ahmad Beigh, son of Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Lolab Kupwara. Officials said that Arsalaan was critically injured in the accident and was initially rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara. He was later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. [KNT]
