SRINAGAR: Two individuals lost their lives, and a minimum of 13 others sustained injuries as a vehicle, transporting a wedding party, veered off the road and plunged into a gorge in Reasi district on Monday.
The Ecco vehicle (JK20C-2474) was en route from Balmatkote to Baddar road when the incident occurred in Mohre area.

Following the accident, a significant rescue operation was initiated by locals and the police.
Two fatalities were reported, and 13 injured individuals were transported to District Hospital Reasi. Four critically wounded were later transferred to GMC Rajouri for specialized treatment.
SDM Mohre Sayed Mazhar Ali Shah confirmed the incident to GNS.
Authorities stated that the individuals involved were returning from a wedding ceremony, and a case has been registered with further investigation underway. (GNS)
