SRINAGAR: A woman died, and her two minor children were among four persons injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Rajouri district on Wednesday, officials said.
They said that an Alto car on its way from Shahdhara Sharief to Thannamandi met with the accident near Dakbanglow this afternoon. “Five people travelling in the vehicle were injured and shifted to the Community Health Center Thannamandi. The injured were identified as Ajaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Fareed (Driver); Toiba Kosser, wife of Sayed Mehtab Bukhari; her 4-year-old son Ahsan Ali; her 1-year-old daughter Hanza Kosser; and Sahiba Kosser, 29, wife of Ahtsham.”
Later, Toiba Kosser succumbed to her injuries while being transferred to the CHC and was declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors who attended her.
A police official said that a case has been registered and further investigations are ongoing. (GNS)
