An official said that a 45-year-old, identified as Fayaz Ah Wani, son of Gh Rasool Wani, resident of Sultanpora Pattan, got electrocuted while repairing a faulty line at his home.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival, he said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and started further investigation in this regard. (KB)
