Srinagar, Aug 20:- A lady lost her life after she received an electric shock during an earthquake in Mirgund area of North Kashmir’s district on Tuesday morning.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that during the earthquake, a lady named Rafeeqa Begum (45) wife of Mohd Maqbool Dar, resident of Odina Mirgund lost consciousness due to an electric shock.

She was taken to the hospital by a family where the doctors declared her brought dead, he said.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KNC)
